[Helpdesk] Is Mac really better for music?

I also do tons of music library management (am a deejay) - not so much
downloading - I can't speak for what windows offers - and the 2 radio
stations I've been around use windows based machines - but I love my
mac - and love what I can do in terms of finding stuff using iTunes
(which is available on either format) I also do a bit of "garage"
engineering (fading out extra stuff at end of songs, deleting the words
that FCC gets upset about - plus other minor things. - there is some
software by Rogue Amoeba that I believe is mac based only. (Audio
Hijack and Airfoil.) "Real engineering" can be done on either machine
but I've only been around windows based machines for that. I suppose as
with anything these days, it's whatever your friend prefers. I think
mac's are better machines - I switched to mac about 4 yrs ago - am not
looking at switching back. I would say speed and RAM (and lots of
HDspace) are aspects to look at - rather than windows or mac
the tech heads probably have more in-depth views.
hope this is helpful
