Agreed; iWork is *not* a replacement -- for AppleWorks or (as reviews  
have said) PageMaker for simple page layout. Can't even set line  
leading in Pages, a feature that was present in MacWrite II (1989).

I use screen shots a lot for graphic stuff that I want to send in  
emails, like little pictures or text in a language the recipient  
doesn't have, e.g.

I have my screen shot set to make .jpg's (a choice in 10.4); Preview  
is very useful for converting graphic files.

In Apple Mail I can just drag little files like this to the composer  
window and they appear in-line (even full-age PDFs), but  
unfortunately I don't know for sure how they'll show in the  
recipient's client. Yahoo mail, for instance, would probably offer  
the above as a file that would have to be downloaded to view.
