[Helpdesk] Appleworks problem

Can you open AppleWorks directly by double-clicking it's icon in the  
Applications folder? Can you work with AppleWorks files that you  
created yourself? This would help identify if it is an issue with  
AppleWorks of the way the file is coming in to you.
